App Subject Research  •  Current Market Situation

 

1.  From my knowledge, there is not one place where you are able to ship all of your products to one place to be packaged neatly for an event and be shipped anywhere in America. 

 

2.  I would like to be able to come up with an app that uses a store/location and is able to start there first and work my way around the store. I have ideas such as who I would like to target, accessories that will be included in the pricing, and kind of how to go about the app.

 

3.  My main goal is to provide people with the ability to save time and money, yet it gets their gift shopping done at the same time. It will save them time and money, because they won’t have to drive anywhere to buy gifts or wait in lines, they won’t have to worry about purchasing wrapping paper, tissue paper, or any decorative bags or boxes. They also can order any gifts from anywhere they want (sitting on the couch, etc.) from stores who ship. They can leave the gift wrapping up to the experts at the main location. The main location is where all of the items that people order will come to; they will get wrapped there with their preference of gifting, and then the items will get shipped to the address desired. 

 

 

 

User Context

 

1.  My target audience is really for anyone. Anyone from grandparents, parents, siblings, friends, mother, father, etc. 

 

2.  He/she is trying to save time and money and can order gifts from any store(s), get it shipped to this one location and they will gift your items for you. You choose how to gift, and then they will ship it to you or the person it is for. 

 

3.  He/she can feel less busy. Relieved. They can feel good about being on top of their to-do list with just a couple of clicks.

5.   •  My audience shares that they all like keeping up to date on current events. 

      •  They are all between the ages of 19-25. Four are in college; one has recently graduated from SCSU.

      •  They all started using apps at a young age (around high school). They also all have Facebook. And they                check their Facebook about 3 or more times a day.

      •   They hangout with friends and roommates most of the time. They like their social media and they like to play games on and offline.

      •  They really enjoy the apps that keep them up to date, Facebook, and music. 

      •  My app will make their lives a little easier and will save them time. It will make their world better because they will have more time to do other things. 

 

 

 

Final Proposal  •  Conclusion

 

This app will feature easier buttons, there will be button forgiveness (allowing to undo something without having to start over). it will give you the option at the end to go back and change or add anything. This ap will be secured when gathering your information, and will log you off after a certain amount of time of not attending to this app. It will also have a ‘save and continue later’ option, so you can pick up whereyou left off incase anything that comes up in the middle of ordering. It will be an easy process and will notify you through email or app as soon as all of your packages arrive and when they are getting shipped out. I would like to have another feature on there that sends you coupons or whatever else as a bonus for using this app. The more you use it, the more you get. So kind of like a membership. As for the design layout, I am not quite sure yet. I want something simple, yet unique. That goes the same for the name-I don’t have one yet.
